Text Book Comparisons, Result: EM WORST

The following link provides a comparison chart on eight, third grade math programs. The chart was used in the 2007 decision resulting in Texas banning Everyday Math from it's public schools. The eight texts are ranked as follows: three are ranked Better, three ranked, fair, one ranked, Poor, and
Everyday Math rounded it out being ranked WORST.

2007 is the same year Radnor Township School District adopted the Everyday Math program.

In 2007 our RTSD Superintendent hand picked Everyday Math. There was no teacher or parent input. Just Superintendent Cooper's opinion. He resigned the same year, and was gone before the Everyday Math materials arrived at the district.
